There have been a number of new talks added to the collection in the last month, as well as updates to a number of the series.  Another new series has also been added, Epigenetics, Chromatin, Transcription and Cancer. New Science and Engineering Book – January 2014

We’ve added 253 Science and Engineering book titles in January. A complete list is at: New books (Science and Engineering). The list includes titles in the George Green Library, Djanogly Learning Resource Centre (Computing), Hallward Library (Built Environment) and the James Cameron Gifford Library (Biosciences and Veterinary Medicine and Science).

19th Century US Newspapers Archive: database trial

We are running a trial of the Gale database 19th Century US Newspapers Archive.  The trial can be accessed through the eLibrary Gateway or through this link, both on and off campus: Information about the database can be found here. The trial will end  the 3rd March.

Daily Mail Historical Archive: database trial

We now have a 30-day trial of the Daily Mail Historical Archive: “The Daily Mail Historical Archive, 1896-2004 brings you every page of every issue of this publication–including the Daily Mail Atlantic Edition–as a fully-searchable, easy-to-navigate online resource.” This database is available on- and off-campus until 3rd March via the eLibrary Gateway.
