Teaching and Learning seminar: Copyright and e-learning: Wed 9 March

February 17th, 2016 at 02:02

Our March seminar is on the subject of Copyright and e-learning: everything you need to know but were afraid to ask

This is the SECOND week in the month not the first as usual.

Will it be OK to use this image in my slides?  If something’s free to view online, can’t I do anything I want with it?  How can I put a copy of this article on Moodle?

This session will begin with a talk from Tony Simmonds (LRLR) aimed at busting myths about copyright and mapping out the real dos and don’ts, giving you confidence to reuse images, video and text to support online learning.

It will be followed by a panel session during which the panel members – academics who have faced copyright challenges – will do their best to answer questions from the audience. Please bring questions with you, whether your own or from any colleagues unable to attend.

Date: Wednesday, March 9th, 2016

Time: 12.30 p.m. with hot drinks from 12.15 p.m.

Location: C27, Coates Building, University Park

To be sure we have enough tea and coffee, please e-mail laura.dominguez@nottingham.ac.uk if you intend to be present.
