Highlights from the ALT-C conference

September 14th, 2013 at 11:09

It was great to see so many of our colleagues inside and outside the University at the conference of the Association for Learning Technology this week. It was lovely to have it on our doorstep here in Nottingham.  It’s been so busy we haven’t had time to blog but more will be appearing on the blog in due course about the presentations from Suzanne Wright on Maximising Moodle - Getting the most out of (y)our VLE, Julian Tenney on The Xerte Project : Sustaining Open-Source Innovation and Andy Beggan and Steve Stapleton on Open Nottingham Making OER available on multiple platforms (U-Now, iBooks, eBooks), and Xpert Automatically add Creative Commons licences to your own images (attribute images) as well as my own presentation about the Perspectives on Sustainability NOOC, NOOCing Nottingham A sustainable approach to open online courses. And I nearly forgot Kirstie Coolin on Open implementation practice for wide-scale e-Portfolio use

One of the highlights for me was appearing on ALT TV LIVE to talk about the launch of the ALT MOOC SIG.

There was another real highlight for the PARiS team, but I’ll tell you all about that in  another post!
