OER13 is coming to Nottingham

October 23rd, 2012 at 08:10

The international open learning conference OER13 is coming to Nottingham March 26-27 2013.

“Are we ready to build on the last ten years of investment in open educational resources and move to the creation of a virtuous circle of open educational practice?”

Following on from previous high profile conferences in Cambridge and Manchester and last year’s highly successful collaboration with the international Open Courseware Consortium, next year’s conference will be held in the Nottingham Business School on Jubilee Campus. The theme of next year’s conference is ‘creating a virtuous circle’ with a call for papers on the topics of evidence, experience and expectation.

Keynotes include our own PVC for Internationalisation, Professor Christine Ennew, Rachel Wenstone, Vice President (Higher Education) NUS and Doug Belshaw from the Mozilla Foundation. This promises to be a stimulating and engaging conference exploring what next for open learning?
